The Raw Aurogen Crystal is a Noteworthy Carryable Object that can be found by destroying large crystal growths. These growths may be found deep inside the coral reefs biome found on Sophie.
Aurogen Crystals are slightly radioactive, and emit an aura that damages players around it in a small radius. The range of the aura is big enough to make interacting with other objects next to it on a Trampler's cargo racks inconcenient. A single crystal will usually not be enough to seriously threaten a player, but multiple crystals can overlap their auras over eachother, causing a full rack of crystals to deal lethal damage in a short period of time.
Aurogen is used in Research.
