The Black Box is a Noteworthy Carryable Object that can be collected from the remains of a destroyed Trampler. Upon the destruction of a Trampler, a black box will spawn at the base of the Trampler's reactor.
Black boxes are used in Research. Otherwise, they can be considered a form of "Kill Mark" and can be collected for bragging rights between explorers of Sophie.
