Flare Gun
The Flare Gun is one of the pieces of Player Gear carried by all explorers of Sophie. The flare gun can shoot coloured flares high into the sky, where they burst into a coloured cloud depending on the loaded flare. Flares deal no damage and do not burst unless shot upwards, although they do leave a smaller smoke trail of their colour in their wake regardless of how they are fired.
The flare gun has an unlimited supply of ammo.
Flares are useful for signalling to teammates and other Tramplers:

The above table shows common, honest uses. But be wary, firing misleading flares is a common tactic
