View source for M82 Rifle

The M82 is a family of [[Player Weapons]] that can be found on [[Sophie]]. The rifles use [[9x42mm Ammo]] and come in two forms: Basic and Aperture.

The rifle is a single-action 6 shot revolver rifle and is essentially a larger version of the [[EB Revolver]]. It rifle's cylinder is fixed in place and can not be removed or swung out for easy access. Instead, a loading gate is built into the frame to allow spent cartridges to be removed and fresh ammo to loaded into the weapon one at a time. 

It is effective at medium range and is one of the few weapons that can handily be used from the deck of a [[Trampler]] to exchange small arms fire with crew members of another trampler.

They can be found in [[Weapon Crate|Weapon Crates]], however, player weapons follow special rules that determine how they are spawned. See [[Weapon Crate]] for more info.

The Aperture variant is a Noteworthy rifle. It has had an aperture site installed to use in place of the iron sights.
