Explosive Barrel

The Explosive Barrel is a Carryable Object that can be found at nearly every landmark on Sophie.

Explosive barrels are highly volatile, and will explode when shot. They can be used to destroy dilapidated red doors at landmarks and select shipwrecks. They can also be used to damage Trampler compartments and doors, although a large number of barrels may be needed for this.

Care must be taken when exploring areas with barrels present as stray bullets can set them off in a firefight. Note that NPC coral creatures are also capable of damaging and setting off explosive barrels.

Explosive barrels are one of the few objects incapable of being placed on a Trampler's cargo rack. Care must be taken when transporting them between locations as the barrel will need to rest directly on the deck or inside a compartment. Make sure to store it somewhere that isn't important!
