View source for Gear and Equipment

There are several [[Items]] that are directly relevant to the player's long term health while out on expedition. Almost all pieces of equipment here are given special inventory slots in the player's inventory reserved specifically for their respective type of item due to their importance. These items consist of:

* [[Player Weapons]] - Firearms, explosives, and exotic hand-held devices of all kinds.
* [[Armor]] - Jackets and coats that add a bit of extra protection to the player to help keep them safe.
* [[Backpacks]] - Currently not implemented in the game. The reserved inventory slot is still present within the player's inventory screen.

There are also [[Player Gear|Special pieces of gear]] that all players have access to thanks to them being permanent additions to their inventory.
